Supratiek Shyamal Ghosh is an acclaimed, award-winning Singer, Songwriter, Composer, Music Producer, Performing Artist, Founder and Cultural Leader whose 25-year journey on and off the stage has made him one of India's most recognised artist-entrepreneurs.

Born into one of India's most distinguished artistic families, Supratiek is the grandson of legendary playback singer Geeta Dutt (Geeta Ray) and the son of acclaimed filmmaker, theatre director and actor Late Shri Shyamal Ghosh. While this rich artistic legacy shaped his earliest exposure to music, cinema and theatre, his own journey has been defined by building an entirely independent path one created from nothing but passion, persistence and purpose.

Founded in 2000, AURKO The Rising Sun is one of India's longest-performing independent bands and the creative foundation upon which everything that followed was built. Celebrating 25 Years of People's Music, AURKO has performed at 2,700+ live concerts across 70+ cities in India and internationally.

More than a performing band, AURKO became Supratiek Ghosh's living laboratory for understanding every dimension of the Indian music industry from performing, touring and audience engagement to artist management, music production, brand partnerships and experiential entertainment.

The lessons learnt over twenty-five years on stage revealed a much larger opportunity: artists did not simply need more performances; they needed stronger platforms, sustainable careers and an ecosystem that connected creativity with opportunity. That realisation became the inspiration behind Alive India.

Alive India In Concert: One of India's Longest-Running Live Concert Series

Alive India In Concert is the Flagship Live Experiential Intellectual Property of the Alive India Ecosystem, one of India's pioneering and longest-running Brand-Integrated, Consumer-Focused Live Concert Series.

Conceived and founded by Supratiek Ghosh, it was launched on 15th August 2012 to bring together Artists, Audiences, Brands, Institutions and Communities through meaningful Music-Led Live Experiences. Over 14 years, it has evolved into a powerful concert movement that has completed 11 successful seasons across 7 cities Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mangalore, Raipur and Kolkata.
